Government is supposed to have been seizing the possibilities of digital technology for a long time. Lots of people have worked hard and done lots of really good work over a long time period

Despite this history, many people think that governments could do enormously better. But if we are to do this we need to re-imagine the very structure and systems of our governments. After all - government is the biggest buyer of tech systems, and often the biggest employer.
